Job Title: *Draftsman*

Job Description:

1. Creating Technical Drawings:

Prepare detailed drawings, blueprints, and plans using computer-aided design (CAD) software or traditional drafting methods.
Translate rough sketches, specifications, and ideas from architects, engineers, or designers into detailed drawings.
Ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to standards in the technical drawings.
2. Drafting and Design:

Assist in the development and modification of designs, incorporating necessary changes and improvements.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other professionals to understand project requirements and objectives.
Create 2D and 3D models to visualize the final product or structure.
3. Technical Knowledge:

Stay updated with industry-specific standards, regulations, and best practices related to drafting and design.
Understand and apply principles of geometry, mathematics, and physics in technical drawings.
4. Documentation:

Prepare and maintain documentation packages, including drawings, specifications, and other relevant documents.
Organize and catalogue drawings and related information for future reference.

Identify and resolve design problems to ensure the efficient completion of projects.
Recommend modifications and improvements to designs based on project requirements.
8. Software Proficiency:

Proficient in using CAD software and other relevant tools for drafting and design.
Stay updated with advancements in drafting software and technologies.
Education and Experience:

A degree or diploma in drafting, engineering, or a related field is typically required.
Previous experience or internships in drafting or a related field is advantageous.
Certification in CAD software usage is often preferred.
Skills:

Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar tools.
Attention to detail and accuracy in creating technical drawings.
Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Problem-solving abilities and creativity in design solutions.
