Database Administrator (DBA) - Dubai

A leading IT Company is looking for Database administrator to be based in Dubai. The purpose of this position is to support Human Capital Management modules as per the business requirements.

• Good knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server 2012+ with 3-5 year experience.
• Experience in query optimization, performance tuning.
• Experience in handling Query time out and deadlock cases in production data base servers.
• Experience in using Performance tools like SQL Profiler, Index Tuning Wizard and Database Engine Tuning Advisor.
• Good knowledge in DB design and DB normalization, analyze and optimize the performance of existing SPs.
• Knowledge of SSIS, SSRS is a plus.
• Conduct regular system tests and evaluations to ensure database performance and availability.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to database design, configuration, and troubleshooting procedures.
• Strong understanding of database architecture, principles, and best practices.
• Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures and triggers.
• Knowledge of Data base encryption options.
• Experience in configuring automated data base backup and job scheduling.
• Relevant certifications in data base administration field will be a plus.
