Role Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Media Planner & Buyer with a strong background in digital, social, and traditional media channels. The ideal candidate will develop and execute strategic media buying plans that align with our marketing objectives, optimize campaign performance, and manage budgets to maximize ROI. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and maintain strong vendor relationships to secure optimal rates and terms.
Key Responsibilities
Media Planning & Buying: Develop and execute media buying strategies across digital, social, and traditional channels to achieve marketing objectives. This includes negotiating and purchasing ad space in a cost-effective manner.
Campaign Management: Oversee the execution and optimization of media campaigns, ensuring alignment with business goals, brand guidelines, and compliance regulations.
Budget Management: Manage the media budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and maximizing ROI on all media spend.
Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyse the performance of media campaigns using key metrics and analytics tools. Provide regular reports and actionable insights to improve future campaigns.
Vendor Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with media vendors, agencies, and other third-party partners. Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure the best rates and terms.
Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, creative, and product teams to align media buys with broader marketing initiatives and ensure consistent messaging across all channels.
Market Research: Stay up to date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and consumer behaviour to identify new opportunities for media buys and ensure the effectiveness of our media strategy.
Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure all media buying activities adhere to relevant regulations and guidelines specific to the financial services industry.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in media buying, with a strong focus on digital media.
Experience in the financial services industry, particularly in CFDs and Forex, is highly preferred.
Proven track record of successful media campaigns that drive results.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in media buying and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, DSPs, Ad Servers).
