About The Opportunity
Role Summary
This is a joint performance & strategy role within Talabat's Regional Marketing team.
You will be the main stakeholder for regional marketing strategy, budgets, performance, and all other related enquiries for Country Marketing Managers across 4 markets:
Ensure accurate forecasting of marketing spend
Using data to ensure that markets are spending their budget in the most effective way
Helping set and track OKRs
Forecasting performance in the annual budgeting process
You will also act as an internal consultant within the Marketing team, working on major strategic projects, such as:
Conducting deep dives on key strategic issues surfaced by markets and by senior stakeholders, identifying areas of focus and proposing solutions, then delivering on those solutions to completion
Using data to make recommendations on the most effective marketing strategies across your markets
Working cross-functionally with senior stakeholders across the business to deliver on key strategic projects
Identifying and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs to measure marketing effectiveness and overall business growth
Identifying opportunities to increase spend efficiency & return on investment

Financial Performance
Directly influencing the efficiency and effectiveness of marketing budget utilization through regular check-ins with markets, monitoring ROI metrics and other key performance metrics, and making recommendations to markets on how to utilise their spend effectively
Contributing to financial performance through data-driven decision-making
Strategic Alignment
Aligning marketing efforts with business goals, ensuring a cohesive strategy
Shaping and supporting the overall strategic vision of the organization
Resource allocation & operational efficiency
Improving the efficiency of marketing operations, optimizing resource allocation.
Streamlining processes for better overall organizational performance.
Delivering cross functional projects with multi-million eur impact on GMV efficiency gains
What Did We Order?
Key skills required:
3-5 years of experience in strategy, consulting, growth or marketing
Financial Acumen:
Understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis/modelling – at least 2 years of experience in a role in which you had exposure to financial analysis
Modelling payback for marketing investments
Ability to manage and optimize marketing budgets efficiently
Experience with financial reporting and tracking KPIs
Analytical Skills:
Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation – advanced Google Sheets/Microsoft Excel skills essential
Ability to derive actionable insights from marketing data & break down problems in a structured manner
Familiarity with the basics of marketing analytics (key metrics, how to track incrementality, etc)
Strategic Thinking:
Ability to contribute to the development and implementation of marketing strategies
Understanding of market trends, competitive landscapes, and customer behavior
Ability to align marketing efforts with overall business goals
Marketing & Business knowledge/ Metrics:
Knowledge of key performance indicators relevant to marketing effectiveness
Experience in setting, monitoring, and achieving performance metrics
Ability to conduct ROI analysis for marketing campaigns
Understanding of digital marketing channels and technologies
Communication Skills:
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to present complex data and insights in a clear and concise manner
Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and finance
Ability to present confidently to senior stakeholders, such as country heads and the regional C-Suite
Project Management:
Experience in managing projects and campaigns from conception to execution
Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Leadership and Team Collaboration:
Leadership skills to guide and mentor junior team members
