ACCOUNTANT - Dubai
A well-reputed Freight forwarding and shipping Company, is looking to hire an Accountant to be based in Dubai.
Main Responsibilities:
Preparing and issuing sales invoices and reconciliation with receipts.
Recording of bills from suppliers and reconciliation with accounts payable.
Assist senior accountants in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings.
Daily recording of journal entries for data entry, bank transactions, prepayments, accruals, fixed assets, reconciliations on monthly basis.
Other accounting data entry or documentation task as requested.
Preferably freight forwarding background
Some knowledge of customs documentation and procedures in the UAE or GCC, or experience in another market with the capacity to learn local procedures quickly.
