​Charterhouse are currently managing a search to identity an Accounting Associate to join their regional sales hub.

About the role
This Associate shall act as the sole representative, within the regional hub, and they shall take ownership across the full cycle of financial accounting whilst also being focused across areas of business support, payroll, expense monitoring and processing.

In conjunction, this Accountant will also deliver all areas of Tax accounting and VAT filing for returns, along with the management of all accounts payable and receivables functions within the regional office. Across the financial operation, the Associate shall also take ownership of budget and planning cycles in the support of business objectives and group forecasting policy.

This role shall also take full ownership across the internal SAP ERP platform to manage all aspects of accounting entries, financial bookkeeping along with sales related journals and reporting.

About you
The client will look to recruit either a part-qualified or qualified Accountant whom is able to deliver a minimum of three years of experience, across services-based environment and/or organisation, within the UAE market.

The role requires a candidate whom is able to also demonstrate a track record within a broad ranging and multi-tasking job role; where they have delivered a diverse set of responsibilities whilst handling senior and internationally-based reporting lines. The successful candidate shall possess strong and decisive communication and presentation skill, acting as a business partner, along with technically astute experience and a demonstrable hands-on track record.

The client will also look to introduce applicants whom are able to deliver a strong knowledge across a SAP ERP platform with a specific focus to the FICO, in conjunction with Excel, to generate and analyse financial statement and consolidated reports.
