Marketing Director - Dubai

We are working with a leading entertainment streaming service provider with a significant presence across Asia, the Middle East, and Africa. With millions of monthly active users, they deliver diverse lifestyle and entertainment content, including original productions, series, documentaries, and more, in multiple languages.

We are seeking a seasoned marketing leader to join their team in Dubai. This role is critical to scaling growth, driving brand marketing, generating revenue, and managing customer relationships. Reporting directly to the GM, Middle East & North Africa, the Director of Marketing will oversee strategic marketing initiatives, budget management, brand positioning, performance marketing, and cross-functional collaboration.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Define and implement marketing strategies for both free and subscription services.
Collaborate with teams to plan for growth and develop innovative service strategies.
Manage the marketing budget to maximize value and optimize acquisition costs.
Diversify marketing channels to reduce reliance on a single source.
Develop and implement brand strategies to increase awareness and enhance partnerships.
Oversee marketing campaigns across digital, social media, PR, and other channels.
Lead performance marketing to optimize customer acquisition and explore organic growth.
Balance content promotion to drive user acquisition and retention.
Lead CRM efforts to improve user retention, lifetime value, and upselling.
Analyze data to optimize marketing strategies and monitor key performance indicators.
Work closely with other teams to ensure alignment and drive business growth.
Lead and mentor the marketing team to achieve business goals.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

Extensive experience in the MENA region.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
Min 10+ years in a senior marketing role, ideally in the media, streaming, or digital industry.
Proven ability to manage large budgets and teams effectively.
Strong strategic and analytical skills, with a deep understanding of consumer behavior.
Proficient in brand marketing, performance marketing, and customer acquisition.
Experience with business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Amplitude).
Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
