Mobile Network Rigger cum Driver - Dubai

The Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Rigger cum Driver to join our Mobile Network Project team in the Telecommunications industry. As a Rigger cum Driver, you will play a crucial role in the installation, maintenance, and repair of mobile network infrastructure. This is a hands-on position that requires physical strength, technical knowledge, and driving skills.

Responsibilities

Operate company vehicles and machinery to transport equipment and materials to work sites
Rig and de-rig mobile network equipment, including antennas, towers, and cables
Install and align antennas and other equipment according to project specifications and safety guidelines
Conduct inspections and perform preventive maintenance tasks on mobile network infrastructure
Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions or connectivity issues
Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure project goals are met on time and within budget
Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while working at heights and in potentially hazardous environments

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent qualification
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Proven experience as a Rigger cum Driver in the Telecommunications industry
In-depth knowledge of mobile network infrastructure and equipment
Proficiency in rigging techniques and safety procedures
Ability to operate various vehicles and machinery for transporting equipment
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Excellent physical fitness and ability to work at heights
Effective communication and teamwork skills
Flexibility to work in different locations and adapt to changing project requirements
Willingness to work overtime and travel as needed
Basic knowledge of electrical and electronic systems would be an advantage
