Senior Accountant - Dubai

Job Summary
We are an Event Company. Looking for an Accountant to manage all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budget who has an accounting experience A to Z.
Accountant responsibilities include auditing financial documents and procedures, reconciling bank statements and calculating tax payments and returns. To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience with bookkeeping and a flair for spotting numerical mistakes.
Ultimately, you will provide us with accurate quantitative information on financial position, liquidity and cash flows of our business, while ensuring we’re compliant with all tax regulations.
Responsibilities
• Manage transactions;
• Manage compliance with all tax and financial requirements of Dubai and the UAE;
• Prepare budget forecasts;
• Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings;
• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable;
• Ensure timely bank payments;
• Payroll processing and payments;
• Compute taxes and prepare tax returns;
• Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements;
• Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity;
• Support Audit financial transactions and documents;
• Comply with financial policies and regulations;
• Handle day-to-day accounting activity, both receivable and payable, to maintain financial accuracy;
• Prepare statements and follow up payment;
• Prepare & submit quarterly VAT returns for Company;
• Process Payroll & WPS for employees;
• Handle cash/petty cash balance;
• Execute & complete the tasks assigned by Managers & seniors.
Requirements
• Fluent in English
• At least 3 years Accounting Work experience in UAE
• Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the IFRS and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Hands-on experience with accounting software like 1C and QuickBooks.
• Advanced MS Excel skill and pivot tables, MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint),
• Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
• BSc in Accounting, Finance or relevant degree
• Additional certification (CPA or CMA) is a plus
• Good knowledge in IFRS/VAT
• License: Valid UAE driving license is a plus. (but not Mandatory)
Education:
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a relater field (Attested)

• Salary AED 6,000 – 6,500 Monthly ; Based on your experience.
