We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Marketing Manager to lead our efforts in the Chinese market. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the luxury industry and be capable of establishing a compelling brand presence in China. This role requires a deep understanding of local best practices and trends in the luxury sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Digital Marketing:

Liaise with digital and marketing agencies to ensure high-quality execution of campaigns.
Develop and implement comprehensive digital marketing strategies to enhance our brand’s online presence in China.
Manage all digital marketing channels, including social media and content marketing.
Work with digital agencies to create engaging and culturally relevant content.
Work hand in hand with the digital team centrally to drive digital performance marketing (acquisition and engagement).
Trade Marketing:

Collaborate closely with our distributor to ensure the effective execution of the marketing plan.
Monitor and evaluate the performance of trade marketing activities, ensuring alignment with brand objectives.
Provide guidance and support to the distributor to maximize brand visibility and sales.
E-commerce Management:

Oversee our e-commerce operations on major Chinese platforms such as Tmall, JD.com, and others.
Develop strategies to drive online sales and enhance the customer experience.
Analyze e-commerce performance data to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
Build the e-shop calendar and ensure e-shop targets are met.
Brand Management:

Ensure consistent brand messaging and positioning across all marketing channels.
Adapt global brand strategies to fit the local market while maintaining brand integrity.
Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior.
Agency and Partner Management:

Liaise with digital and marketing agencies to ensure high-quality execution of campaigns.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with key partners and stakeholders.
Ensure all external communications are aligned with the brand’s values and objectives.

Desired Background:

5 to 7 years of experience in the luxury industry.
Extensive experience working in China.
Strong understanding of the Chinese market, including consumer behavior and industry trends.
Expertise in digital marketing, particularly with Chinese platforms such as Tmall, WeChat, LRB (Little Red Book) Douyin and Weibo.

Required Profile:

Native Chinese speaker, proficiency in French is a plus.
Proven ability to work effectively with distributors and agencies, ensuring high standards of execution.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data to drive marketing decisions.
