Delivery Man - Dubai

Duties and responsibilities

1. Pick and load goods from dispatch area to their respective vehicle according to their daily set of invoice and designated routes.
2. Maintain proper vehicle conditions and temperature before loading and transporting the items for delivery.
3. Ensure safe handling; loading and transportation of shipment in the right temperature and the right manner at all times (2-8 C° degrees for cold chain products; 15-25 C° degrees for normal products).
4. Proper utilization of certified iceboxes; refrigerated vans for cold chain item deliveries.
5. Collection of expired, returned & recalled goods from the customers as instructed.
6. On time collection and remittance of cash payments, Cheque from customers to accounts department.
7. Ensure that all copies of invoices are signed, stamped and submitted to dispatch on a daily basis.
8. Ensure a high level of rapport and communication is maintained with both internal and external customers while promoting company's professional image.
9. Communicate with dispatch professionally as per time deadlines indicated to ensure that all deliveries and requests are completed as per our commitment to our customers.
10. Responsible for monitoring all the basic maintenance of their respective vehicles.
11. Ensure that the vehicle is tidy at all times; drive carefully and safely adhering to the traffic regulations of the country and ensuring safety of both self and others on the road.
12. Adhere to work timings, policies and procedures of the company and ensure that self is well groomed at all times.
13. Report to the dispatch supervisor for any dispatch related issues, While reporting to the Fleet supervisor for any vehicle maintenance related issues.
